"The prolific Brazilian born junglist Amon Tobin transcends the drum and bass tag with dark, abstract noise explosions that mix jarring polyrhythms with symphonic splendor while drawing on his love for all things blues, jazz, funk, and hip hop. Tobin has recently begun interpreting and deconstructing his daring sonics with a dynamic live show that employs netting, multiple projection, and spy cameras. His 2003 Collaborations & Remixes EP features Kid606, Prefuse 73, Bonobo and others.
