A lot of records have interesting or beautiful cover art. However,
mostly the records are stored next to each other like books. Because I
wanted to see some record cover art in my livingroom, I designed &
made my own record rack. The records can be taken out of the rack
very easily for playing purposes. Or to be changed for other record
sleeves. I try to create some themes from my record collection and
change those on a regular basis.

That is: most of the records...
Top row: some reggae compilations,
Middle row:
Bob Marley & The Wailers - Natty Dread
Sly & Robbie - Rhythm Killers (with a great track called "Boobs (Here to go)") ?
some raggae compilation album with the label painted black. Probably
done by some dj that did not want other people to know what records
he was playing.
Bottom row:
Boney M. - Nightflight to Venus
Boney M. - Take the heat of me
Boney M. - Ten thousand lightyears
(one day Boney M. will get its own rack: still 3 records to go for that to happen) |
