| Theme: Early Electronic Records |
This week I have some records in my rack that are electronic
or futuristic (or were that in the past). From the upperleft to the lower right: Klaus Schulze - Audentity New Order - Blue Monday/The Beach 12" Klaus Schulze - Dune (my first Klaus Schulze record, before this one I had never heard of him. I knew Tangerine Dream, where he was part of at some records, by name) Pierre Henry - Variations pour une porte et un soupir (very very weird record composed with sounds of opening / closing doors. Made around 1967) Tangerine Dream - Force Majeure Thomas Wilbrandt - The Electric V. (great interesting crossover between computer/electronic music and Vivaldi's The Four Seasons classical music. Recommended!) Tangerine Dream - Stratosfear (has a very well known sample that dj shadow used on Entroducing) Herbie Hancock - Future Shock (I bought this record for Rockit, don't like the rest of the tracks as much as Rockit) Landscape - From the Tea-rooms of Mars (I bought this record for its cover, cannot remember how it sounds like. Hold on, I have to take it out of the rack for an hour or so :-) |
