Amon Tobin working on new album

For the past 8 months Amon Tobin has been working on a new album. For his new album he will make use of collected field recordings.

Dim lights His previous records were constructed with samples, mostly from vinyl. His new album will contain samples, recorded by Tobin himself, from machines, animals and people with real live instruments.

You can read Amon Tobin's personal message AND hear/see a tiny part of it (forthcoming album, trailer #1) at his official myspace page. In his personal blog he writes that he's "just over half way into it now" so hopefully it will be released somewhere within the next eight months.
